The Navy requires Radar Data Distribution Switchboards for shipboard and land based installations of the Advanced Combat Direction System (ACDS) including compliance with Congressional direction to install emulation devices in lieu of militarized equipment at land based facilities. In particular, this procurement will provide a Sensor Distribution Switchboard whose purpose is to distribute radar data at existing and planned installations of ACDS at Navy shore based range and test facilities. This procurement shall provide for an RDDS which shall include the Radar Azimuth Conversion and the Video Signal Switchboard functions. The RDDS shall receive signals from up to eight radars and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) sets, and buffer and distribute these signals to up to 18 display consoles/UPA-59B IFF Decoders. The RDDS shall be used for testing or training applications in which a combat system requires radar and IFF Data. Interested parties are invited to respond to this synopsis.
