The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO), formerly the Defense Commercial Communications Office (DECCO), intends to issue a delivery order under the appropriate FY 95 GSA contract (#GS00K95AGS5514) to Computer Associates International, Inc., 12120 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, VA 22090-3904 for the Defense Megacenter St. Louis. The delivery order will provide for upgrading proprietary software products from a Group 40 to a Group 80 machine and the monthly maintenance service for the software. The software products to be upgraded are CA-PAN/APT and CA-PAN/MERGE. Companies who can provide the items listed above must indicate their interest within 15 days of this advertisement. Oral communications are not acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
