The scope of work includes the contractors to furnish plant labor, parts, material, transportation and facilities necessary to complete all work in connection with Asbestos Abatement as Part of Ajo Design for Demolition, in complete and strict accordance with the bidding schedule, drawings and specification NURD94-7019E, and with the terms and provisions of the contract. Contractor must provide certification of Abatement Contractor License. Work consists mostly of the removal and appropriate disposal of asbestos containing floor tile and associated mastics in various buildings located at Ajo Air Force Station (AFS) in southwestern Arizona, on top of Childs Mountain, within the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge. This contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. Estimated price range for work is between $25,000 and $100,000. Bid documents, including plans and specifications are expected to be available on or about 22 Mar 95. SIC 1799 applies. The estimated performance period for this solicitation is 90 calendar days. The proposed acquisition is 100 percent set aside for small disadvantaged business concerns (SDB). If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
