Requests in writing to Contracting Officer, Attn: S14A/S14B, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. The NSWCDD intends to procure thirteen (13) portable notebook computers. Each computer shall exhibit the following minimum performance and functional capabilities: 1) 486 DX4 processor operating at 100MHZ; 2) 20 MB RAM with 1 DIMM, installed; 3) 500MB IDE hard drive with an access time no greater than 17ms; 4) 14.4 KB internal PICMA compliant Modem; 5) Two (2) Lithium-Ion batteries, with operational battery life of six hours, for each notebook computer, (one installed, one spare); 6) Port replicator for desktop docking; 7) One serial port; 8) one parallel port; 9) one VGA port; 10) One PS/2 Keyboard Port; 11) one 10base-T ethernet port; 12) Active matrix color display with 640 x 480 pixels and no greater than 80ms response time; 13) carrying case, and, 14) each computer shall have Microsoft DOS 6.2 and Microsoft Widows 3.1 factory installed. Hardware and software documentation shall be delivered in accordance with commercial practice.
