Flexible Pop-Up Helicopter Target System. The successful contractor shall provide a flexible pop-up target system to assist the Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA) during the live-fire portion of the Light Armored Vehicle-Air Defense (LAV-AD) Extended Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (EIOT&E). The contractor shall provide this target service at the Naval Weapons Testing Center (NWTC), China Lake, CA during the period of 17 July through 21 July 1995. The contractor shall present typical Marine Corps low altitude air defense gunners with a visually realistic helicopter threat, such as Hokum, Havoc, or Hind-D helicopters. The contractor shall provide one pop-up target mechanism and six helicopter target shells. Solicitation M00264-95-B-0011 will be available approximately March 31, 1995.
