The United States Air Force has the intent to award a contract to provide and install a turret truck system consisting of two-man-up turret trucks, rail guidance, and a battery charging system. The system is to be installed in Building 1536 at Kelly AFB. The solicitation will be issued approximately 03 April 1995. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use proposal development phase of this acquisition. Potential offerors should use established channels to request information, pose questions, and voice concerns before resorting to use of the Ombudsman located in ASC/CY, Bldg 2041, 2511 L St..
