The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia is seeking sources for technical analysis and assistance for the development of conceptual and detailed specifications in relation to a state of the art distributed switching system for high speed data transfer of multiple (1000s) point to point MIL-STD-1397C interfaces. Interfaces include NTDS Parallel (Fast), NTDS Parallel (Slow), NTDS High Level Serial, NTDS Low Level Serial, and Multimode Fiber. Interested sources are requested to submit information in sufficient detail to permit evaluation of their capabilities, including experience with MIL-STD-1397 (or equivalent) interfaces, knowledge of latest data transfer and conversion technologies, key personnel qualifications, and performance on similar projects.
