The proposed work consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, transportation, plant and incidentals necessary to pickup and delivery at all school within the Navajo Area in the States of Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. Invitation for Bid No. N00-96-04: Bid Opening Date: May 4, 1995at 2:00 p.m. local time. This project is a Labor Surplus Area Set-Aside. This project is set-aside for 51% Indian-owned and controlled concerns. This procurement is subject to Section 7(b) of P.L. 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) and 41 CFR 14-1.354, which requires that preference opportunities in employment and training to be given to Indian/Alaska Individuals and that preference in the award of subcontract be given to Indian/Alaska Native Economic Enterprises. Failure by the Contractor to submit a plan for doing so prior to award and implement the same after award shall be sufficient reason for non-award or termination of this contract for default.
