this acquisition is scheduled for release on or about 31 Mar 95.
Competition will be Small Business Set-Aside. The SIC code for this
acquisition is 8711. A Sources Sought synopsis was published for this
procurement on 11 Apr 94 for follow on technical Services support to
the Space Warfare Center (SWC). Potential Offerors who responded to
this Sources Sought are already in our database and need not reapply.
The proposed contract will have a basic period of performance of 01 Oct
95 through 30 Sept 96 with four (4) one-year option periods. Its
purpose is to provide nonpersonal technical services support to the
Space Warfare Center (SWC). The objective of the SWC is to improve the
ability for combat forces to effectively employ space systems. SWC
functions as the principal expediters of new capabilities designed to
improve the tactical use of space/national system-derived data. General
areas of support include: (1) requirements analysis and technical
support to tactics; (2) exercise and real world contingency support;
(3) Space Application Integration Facility (SPAIF) support; (4) support
to SAR programs; (5) education and training (6) security management
support. In addition, the contractor shall be required to procure
hardware, software, and material when necessary to support SWC mission
requirements. The contractor's staff must have demonstrated levels of
expertise in all operational, intelligence, and command missions of
the Air Force, as well as DOD special access programs and
space/national systems applications. All contractor personnel shall
have an active Top Secret Clearance with current Special Background
Investigations. Access To Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and
Special Access Required (SAR) Programs is required. The contractor's
facility must be capable of obtaining certification and accreditation
for SCI-level work. An additional facility accredited for SAR programs
is also required. Location of primary workplace shall be in Colorado
