58 -- AUTOMATED AIR MOVEMENT DATA SYSTEM (AAMDS) POC Mr. David Hawkins, Contracting Officer, 617-377-9457. The Government intends to award a sole source contract to TRW as prescribed by 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a) to install the Automated Air Movement Data System (AAMDS) enhancement to the AICU at the Canada East Sector Operational Control Center (SOCC) and Canada West Regional Operational Control Center (ROCC), conduct detailed testing, and provide training for site personnel IAW established procedures. TRW is the incumbent contractor and possesses the expertise of the current software and interface development for the program. TRW acting as prime contractor, designed, will install, and test the current AAMDS enhancement to the AICU as part of the TRW Systems contract F19628-91-C-0031. However, if any firm believes it can meet the following criteria: (a) Secret Security classification, (b) a working knowledge of the AICU and the AAMDS enhancement to the AICU, (c) Familiarity with communications equipment for the NORAD-AAMDS and FAA-AMIS interface, (d) completion no later that 1 September 1995, it must submit their statement of qualifications within 15 days of CBD publication. The statement must explicitly address the firm's ability to meet the above screening criteria and should be no longer than 10 pages including any graphics, tables, or photographs. This synopsis does not constitute an IFB or RFP and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or otherwise pay for information solicited. All small business and small disadvantaged sources should identify themselves. Interested parties should submit their responses within 15 days after publication of this notice.
