L -- L -INSTALLATION AND TESTING SUPPORT FOR C-17 AIRCRAFT PROGRAM SOL N00019-92-C-0050 POC Contact, Wallace D. Coggins, Phone (703)604-6100 The purpose of the proposed order is to provide engineering support for immediate field installation and testing in support of the C-17 program. This effort will include attendence at technical interchange meetings and on-site support for the installation, integration, troubleshooting, test, failure analyses, engineering investigations, and repair of the AAR-47 system on the C-17 aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate with Hercules Defense Electronics Systems, P.O. Box 4648, Clearwater, FL 34618-4648, as Hercules is the sole manufacturer of the in-line repeater required for this integration effort and is the only firm with the knowledge required to perform the effort in the time required.
