The Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, plans to issue solicitation IFB 146-6191 for water distribution system improvements at the Federal Correctional Institution - La Tuna, in Anthony, New Mexico-Texas. The successful contractor will be required to install new pvc underground waterline; new ductile iron plant waterline; new copper waterline in buildings; construct new 200,000 gallon elevated steel storage tank; install pressure control and monitoring station; new natural gas driven pumps; construct new 1000 gallon per minute domestic water well; install underground copper cable supervisory control and data acquisition system; construct chain link fence; and electrical improvements to controls.
