NEWELL, (202)782-1155 The Walter Reed Army Medical Center, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Computer Distribution Services Bekins, Inc., for rental of 12,000 square Feet of Storage Space and labor for off loading for furniture and equipment. Services shall have a base period of four (4) months to include two (2) one (1) month option periods. Anticipated date of issue is 05 April 1995. If other small business sources can provide this service submit with your request the cost for moving 6,000 sq. ft. of furniture and equipment already stored, and evidence of your ability to perform this service. Rental space within the District of Columbia can not be considered in accordance with 40U.S.C.34. All interested responsible Business firms, shall submit a written request for the solicitation to the address above. Telephone requests shall not be honored. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice to the effect that other sources can meet these specifications, a contract will be negotiated with Bekins.
