The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for hardware and software support including preventative and remedial maintenance for NRL's Center for Computational Science Connection Machine. The connection machine consist of the following equipment: 1) model CM5E-Device Cabinet, with the following options: 256 SuperSparc processing nodes with vector units and 128MBytes memory per node, 2) model CM5E-Network cabinet, with the following option item, full height 5 routing tree, 3) model CM5E-Control Cabinet, with the following optional items, 5 SPARCstation 20 MNI adapters, SPARCstation2 diagnostic server, 100GByte scalable disk array, HIPPI interface, SPARCstation2 console server, 4)CM-5E Control Cabinet, with the following options items, 8 ECP SPARCstation20 MNI adapters, and 5) CM-5E Standalone Cabinet, with the following options, 32 SuperSparc processing nodes with Vector Units and 128 MBytes memory per node, full height 4 routing tree, SPARCstation20MNI, SPARCstation2 Diagnostic Server, 40 GByte scalable disk array, HIPPI Interface, 8ECP SPARCstation20 MNI adpaters. The software to be maintained includes: Software Package for CM5E-256 and CM-5E-32 including AVS. CM-Fortran, C*, CMSSL, Prism, and CM-OS. The level of facility clearance is Secret. This procurement will include a base period of (12 months) and two option periods (12 months each). Specific details will be provided in Solicitation N00014-95-R-VS11.
