Work to consist of but not limited to; selective demolition, masonry, carpentry, insulation, painting, carpeting, drywall assembly, furnishings, mechanical, and electrical for the purpose of renovation of existing aircraft maintenance hangar offices. The work will be performed for the Indiana Air Naional Guard installation located at Fort Wayne International Airport, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The proposd contract is being considered for 100 percent small disadvantaged business set-aside. Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 days from publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as the prime or as a subcontractor on the project, by providing the contracting office at 122LS/LGC, SMSgt Michael R. Lents, 3005 West Furguson Road, Fort Wayne International Airport, Indiana 46809-0122 evidence of capability to perform includng referfences for similar work with contract numbers, point of contact, and telephone numbers, and if appropriate a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. In addition, dollar amount of current construction bonding capability is required. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concens, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice and evaluation preference will not be applied. All responding potential bidders shall identify their status as 8(a), SDB, ESB, small business or large business. All parties interested in bidding this project must submit their request in writing to the contracting officer. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 19 May 1995 and will be issued on a first come basis until all plans have been exhausted. The applicable SIC Code is 1542. The size standard is a concern, including it's affiliates, having average annual gross revenues for its proceding three (3) fiscal years not in excess of $17M. The Government intended to award a Firm Fixed Priced contract, firms wishing a copy of the IFB can pick-up the solicitation package in person, or by mail. Telephone requests will not be accepted. A $35.00 non-refundable depsoit is required for each request.
