Additional potential sources of supply are being sought for the following item: NSN: 1620-00-707-5570, P/N: 578175-103, Noun: Cylinder Assy, Shock. This item is used in the F-106A/B, aircraft outer main landing gear. A complete data package is available however the forging source is unknown. This item has not been purchased since 1982. Future requirements are uncertain. The estimated unit price is $19,664.32. OO-ALC/Hill AFB, is planning on purchasing a quantity of 10 ea in the near future. Menasco Aerosystems, Burbank CA, is currently the only approved source of supply. Qualification Requirements are available and will be provided to interested companies.
