This work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, management, supervision, parts, equipment and transportation necessary to provide Transportation, Operation, Maintenance and Repair Functions for the Naval Air Weapons Station, Point Mugu, California, and its facilities. Location of work is at Naval Air Weapons Station, Point Mugu, California, and its facilities. This includes Santa Cruz Island, San Nicolas Island, the Naval Construction Battalion Center at Port Hueneme, and the complexes located at Camarillo Airport and Laguna Peak. Solicitation will be available on or about 25 May 1995, until supply is exhausted. The duration of the contract is for one (1) base period plus four (4) option periods. The Standard Industrial Code for this procurement is 4173. The Small Business Size Standard is $3.5 million. The proposed contract is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for Small Business Disadvantage Business (SDB) Concerns Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity type contract. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but no later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Office, in writing, evidence of capability to perform, including the name and telephone number of references for similar work performed in the last three years; and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. All requests for copy of solicitation must be submitted in writing. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
