The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for specialized scientific, engineering, technical, analytical (SETA), and management support for its efforts to continue on-going IDM developmental efforts and the conduct of tactical communications and targeting data dissemination systems (ATDs). The effort requires engineering expertise to maintain existing IDM systems, the development of hardware and software items, including testing, prototyping, and documentation, studies to determine the requirements of future tactical communications systems, and engineering and management expertise to effectively integrate the technology. The period of performance is five years. Offerors must have considerable expertise in planning and execution of hardware and software development programs for satellite, aircraft, and UAV platforms with emphasis on command, control, and communications activities and IDM.
