paint from the interior of the rotunda library and repaint, repair and
replacement of deteriorated plaster on molding, walls and ceiling, and
the removal of existing plexiglass and provide a new 1/4'' thick UF3
ultravoilet filtering plexiglass. All books shall be packed, moved, and
set-up in a temporary library at the U.S. Naval Observatory during
construction. Upon completion of construction, the books shall be
packed, moved and reshelved in the proper call number order.
Contractors will be required to submit both technical and price
proposals. The following technical criteria will be required: (1)
Technical Approach; (2) Relevant Experience/Past Performance; (3)
Staffing; and (4) Schedule. The Estimated Cost Range is between
$250,000 and $500,000. The Standard Industrial Code is 1542. The Small
Business Size Standard is $17 million. The proposed contract listed
here is unrestricted. All interested and repsonsible firms may submit
a bid. The Bid Opening date is 17 July 1995 at 2:00pm. Submit requests
by fax for receiving plans and specifications when they become

they may be picked up in person from Building 166, 1st Floor, West
Side, Washington Navy Yard. There is no charge for plans and
