NASA Lewis Research Center is contemplating the acquisition of a basic, two room laboratory set-up (consisting of a control room and a test cell, divided by a one-way mirror) which will be used to study usability of hardware and software. The software, installation, staff training, user documentation, and 12 months of telephone support) will be the subject of this acquisition. The room will be on-site at NASA LeRC in Cleveland, Ohio, and the dimensions and configuration of that room will be included in the solicitation; no physical changes to the room are contemplated as part of this acquisition. The Government does not intend to provide a system layout, or an all-inclusive equipment list, as part of the solicitation; only some of the required equipment will be described in the solicitaiton. The supplier will be fully responsible for system integration. It is anticipated that delivery and installation of all equipment will occur within 45 days of contract award.
