First, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (DHUD) is seeking industry comments on a draft solicitation to provide a full range of services to assist DHUD in fulfilling it's mission of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Electronic Data Interchange program. The services shall include, but not limited to, operating and maintaining the EDI Communications Gateway, System Assurance, Trading Partner Coordination Planning Support, and Transaction Set Implementation Functions. A draft solicitation document will be made available on or before May 16, 1995. Requests for copies may be made via facsimile. Comments on the draft solication must be received by May 24, 1995. DHUD will not specifically respond to the comments received. However, the comments will be used to assist DHUD in developing the formal solicitation document. Second, this notice serves as the only announcement given for potential offerors to request a copy of the final solicitation document. No other announcement will be published. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 15, 1995. A pre-proposal conference will be held approximately 20 to 25 days after release of the solicitation, however, the actual date and time established for the conference will be specified in the solicitation.
