Landing System (ILS) Localizer Log Periodic Dipole Antenna Systems
(LPD) brand name or equal Wilcox or New Bedford Panoramex (NBP)
equipment, as follows: 8-Element Localizer Antenna System, part
#447818-0200; 14-Element Localizer Antenna System part #447818-0800;
Distribution/monitor recombination units (only), identical to the
distribution units supplied with the above complete systems; kits to
convert 8-Element Systems to 14-Element Systems; Site and depot spare
parts for all of the above. Salient characteristics include: (1)
Antenna systems shall have been installed in an airport operating
environment (ILS Localizer) and shall have satisfied airborne flight
inspection requirement for a Category 1 ILS as described in FAA Flight
Inspection Manual, OA P 8200.1. (2) Anetnna systems shall be interface
compatible with Wilcox Mark 1F Category 1 Localizer Transmitter (part
#0998226) and Monitor (part #098413), and (3) antenna systems shall be
interchangeable with the Wilcox and NBP systems specified above. All
subassemblies (antenna elements, stripline distribution and combining
units, monitor combining units, detectors) shall be interchangeable
with like subassemblies of the Wilcox and NBP antenna systems. on the
bidders' mailing list, send a written request to the address in Note 7,
