The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement for an Automated ES Microphone Calibration System which will be used as a laboratory standard for the frequency response calibration and evaluation of high accuracy air-condenser 1/4'', 1/2'' and 1'' microphones and their associated electronics over a frequency range of 20Hz to 100KHz. The system shall utilize a pentium processor with a high resolution color monitor using the WINDOWS based operating system with all calibration system software written in C++ code. The processor shall operate at 100 MHZ and have 16MB of RAM, a 1.0GB hard disk and a high speed IEEE-488 interface and Ethernet card. The system shall be automated and have provisions for a variety of graphical and tabular reports that are both viewable on a color computer screen and printable to a wide range of laser and color printers. The system shall accurately certify microphone frequency response, sensitivity, capacitance and perform phase-match comparisons between devices over a 6 Khz bandwidth. The system shall include the measurements of temperature, barometric pressure and humidity. The system shall output all measurement data in a form that is compatible with the VAX database. The system design shall allow for system expansion in the future that will allow the addition of functions and features as required. The manufacturer shall perform on-site interface connections, system start-up, and check of operation, which shall be be accomplished within 10 working days from time of notification, with further training/support available throughout the warranted period. The estimated delivery will be 60 days after contract award. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price.
