70 -- SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE POC Ms. Junghie Choi tel: (410) 965-9483 The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking to identify vendors who can provide either (1) maintenance for the following Syncsort, Inc. proprietary software products: COBOL ACCELERATOR FEATURE, BASIC SYNCSORT/MVS, and PROC SYNCSORT; or (2) software that is as fully functional as and equivalent to the foregoing, along with maintenance thereof. The Syncsort software is installed on mainframe systems located at the National Computer Center, Baltimore, Maryland. Firms capable to provide either of the above are invited to submit clear and complete details demonstrating such capability. Respondents should refer to JC-96A and send two (2) complete copies of the requested documentation. Written responses from interested parties must be received in this office within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice in order to be considered. This is a request for vendor product information and not a Request for Proposal (RFP). No open market award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, the information will be used in SSA's assessment of capable sources.
