This synopsis corrects the synopsis published May 12, 1995 for the Naval Research Laboratory's requirement for a Reflection High Energy Electron Diffraction (RHEED) electron gun system equivalent to the Kimball Physics Inc. Model ERG-21. The system shall consist of an electron gun and power supply, intermediate magnetic lens, beam blanking system, stigmator, and, raster generator. Salient features include, high performance continuous operation from 1keV or less up to 30 keV. The intermediate magnetic lens is necessary for 1 micron or less spot size with higher energy operation. Telephone requests for this requirement will not be honored.
