This Solicitation notice is for renovation of a mail room, approximately 3,000 gsf, in Building 31 on the Bethesda, Maryland Campus of the National Institutes of Health. The mail room is to be renovated into an office space complete with new carpet, ceiling, HVAC system, lighting and sprinkler system and leveling the floor. The renovation work also includes asbestos removal, carpentry, fire protection, mechanical and electrical work. The estimated cost of construction ranges between $100,000.00 and $250,000,00. Construction is estimated to begin in the late summer of 1995 with a period of performance of 180 calendar days. The plans and specifications will be available on or about June 9, 1995 from the Bid Custodian, Building 13, Room G800, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland at a non-refundable cost of $40.00.
