Bauman, Contracting Officer, (301) 619-2369 This solicitation replaces DAMD17-95-B-5009 which was published in the CBD at the end of March. The U.S. Army at Fort Detrick, Frederick, MD, has a requirement for remedial/preventive maintenance of Government owned Waters equipment. The equipment is located at the Walter Reed Institute of Research (WRAIR), Washington, DC. WRAIR requires the services of a contractor who is knowledgeable and experienced in the intricacies of Waters equipment. Prospective contractor's will be required to provide a cost proposal at time of the closing date. The contractor's will give oral presentations on their technical capabilities and will be evaluated against the technical evaluation criteria listed in the solicitation. The proposed contract will be firm-fixed price with a base year and four option years. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing and must be received no later than 10 days from the published date of the CBD.
