This announcement is a notification that solicitation DE-RP03-95SF20686 for Environmental Restoration and Waste Management (ERWM) activities at the Laboratory for Energy Related Health Research (LEHR), at the University of California, Davis, and support of the Waste Management Program at other DOE sites, will be available for release on, or about, June 19, 1995. The LEHR site has been placed on the U.S. EPA Superfund List and is deemed a Federal Facility. At LEHR the successful bidder will be responsible for planning, managing, executing, contracting, reporting and integrating a full range of programs and project activities included in the DOE ERWM program. The program activities include, but are not limited to, administrative activities, characterization and remediation of the site, application of innovative remediation technologies, decontamination and decommissioning activities, waste management of hazardous, radioactive and mixed wastes, waste minimization, waste disposal and RCRA permitting activities. The work at other DOE sites will include planning, management and executing waste management programs. This work includes all activities that are required to pick up, process, package, store, and transport hazardous, radioactive, and mixed wastes from waste management facilities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and DOE Orders. The waste management program could involve such facilities as permitted Treatment Storage and Disposal (TSD) Facilities, 90 day storage facilities, and facilities for the storage of radioactive and mixed waste. It is anticipated that copies of this solicitation will be made available on 3.5'' Floppy Disks, utilizing Work Perfect 5.1 (WP 5.1), and American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII).
