Fitzsimons Army Medical Center has a requirement for operation of its transportation motor pool. This non-personal service will be provided under a firm fixed-price contract and includes management of a mixed fleet of 77 vehicles and 20 electric carts. The fleet is a mixture of sedans, trucks, buses, ambulances and other vehicles. Services required include administrative functions, vehicle dispatch, operating a licensing station, monitoring credit card transactions, coordinating scheduled maintenance, assuring performance of operator level maintenance and shuttling vehicles to and from maintenance facilities. Proposed solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside. Requirement has a one year base period and two one year option periods. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. Solicitation will be issued on or about June 19, 1995. Fitzsimons Army Medical Center has been nominated for CLOSURE. Confirmation of CLOSURE is expected on or about October 1, 1995.
