Z -- REPLACE CENTRAL HEAT PLANT - POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT SOL DAHA47-95-B-0011. DUE 061595. Project consists of all equipment, material, and labor to replace the central heat plant at General Mitchell IAP(ANG), Milwaukee, WI. Work to include: removal of existing boilers, heating, ventilating, and plumbing systems (asbestos abatement required), portions of floor for installation of drain, waste and vent systems. Construction requires installation of new windows, walls, and floor systems and interior patching where old system is removed. New HVAC system includes new boilers, pumps, water piping, terminal heating equipment and control systems. Plumbing modifications to existing sanitary drains, waste and vent systems, and relocate of air compressor system. Electrical upgrade and extension electrical service is included. Magnitude of project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Project is under consideration for Samll Disadvantaged Business Set-Aside. Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as prime or as subcontractor on the project, evidence of capability to perform, including references for similar work with contract numbers, points of contact, telephone numbers, and if appropriate, a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially, and economically disadvantaged business concern. In addition, dollar amount of construction bonding capability is required. The Contracting Officer will utilize the information received to make a decision to insure this solicitation is set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or as ``Unrestricted'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or 8(a). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1711. The applicable small business standard including affiliates, is no more than $7,000,000 average annual revenue for previous three years.
