This requirement is for renovation work of approximately 2500 square feet of control rooms at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. The work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment required to rework control rooms and HVAC and replace the air conditioning equipment. Major requirements will include removal of asbestos insulation from duct work, pipe, and lead base paint; removal of existing air conditioning equipment and existing acoustical ceiling and light fixtures; removal of fire pull stations; painting of walls, ceilings and electrical switchboards; provide view windows; provide air conditioning equipment and air conditioning ductwork; provide refrigeration tube installation; provide suspended ceiling and electrical service to all lighting; provide fire alarm and conduit and wire. The contract performance period will be 140 calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000.
