This project consists of the renovation of a 7,600 square foot area within an existing brick and metal siding building to accommodate a new photo lab. Demolition work includes lead and asbestos abatement. Other work items include metal stud walls, insulated windows, metal siding insulation, a suspended ceiling system, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire, security and communications systems. The project also involves the relocation of office equipment and files from existing work areas to temporary locations and the relocation of photo lab equipment from the existing photo lab to the renovated facility. The project includes an additive alternate for painting the existing metal siding. The estimated order of magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The performance period shall be 350 calendar days following receipt of a notice to proceed. Any interested firm may submit a bid which will be considered. Foreign participation is authorized. Firms responding to this notice should do so in writing and should indicate whether or not they are small businesses and whether or not they are small disadvantaged businesses. (0145)
