This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Rigaku/USA, Inc., 199 Rosewood Drive, Danvers, MA 01923 on an other than full and open competitive basis for the purchase of one each D/Max-2100H Fully Automated Horizontal XRD System, Heat Exchanger, Pole Figure attachment, Gateway PC package, and 1400 degree celsius High Temperature attachment for D/Max-2TB. The high temperature furnace will be an attachment to a Rigaku X-ray Diffractometer. The unit must be interfaced and controlled by the computer system that runs the diffractometer. The furnace must be water cooled and capable of running at 1400 degrees celsius. It must be capable of running both in vacuum and atmospheric pressure. This shall be a one-time procurement, no further actions are anticipated for future procurements.
