Provide for repairs to existing trackage to meet class 1 standards. The work shall include removal and replacement of ties, rail, spikes, ballast, and other trackage components. Switches shall be repaired and serviced. Road crossings shall be dug up and deteriorated components replaced. Paving and crossing timbers removed for crossing repairs shall be replaced. An ultrasonic inspection shall be done for all tracks. Copies of plans and specifications are limited and will be distributed on a first come first served basis.
