MASSEY, (317)353-3940Additional Contact, FAX TELEPHONE, (317)353-3066 The Navy has a requirement for Aircraft Wiring Repair Tool Sets in accordance with NAVAIRSYSCOM Drawing Number 3328AS100-1. The Navy requires six (6) each to twenty-four (24) new tool sets. In addition to the 6-24 new tools sets, the Navy requires the refubishment of twelve (12) to thirty-six (36) existing tool sets, converting them to the new 3328AS100-1 design . The existing fleet tool sets to be refurbished may contain several tools (120 maximum) which may be reused in the new tool set design. The new and refurbished tool sets will contain approximately two hundred and fifty (250) tools. The contract period will cover a base period and three option periods for the new tool sets and approximately four (4) option periods for the refurbished tool sets. Included in the solicitation package will be a list of primary and/or alternate tools (120 maximum, as above) which may be contained in the existing tool sets to be refurbished. The tools on this list will be screened for reuse as each existing tool set is inducted for refurbishment. This list will permit the contractor to propose the new price of these tools, should the existing tool be defective, missing, or otherwise not reuseable.
