transportation and supervision required to construct a new access road
to the Marine Safety Office, Cleveland, OH. Work shall consist of
demolition of pavement, sidewalks, retaining walls, etc., removal of
fencing, paving of new road, driveway, curbs, handicapped ramps, etc.,
relocation of the lift gate and card reader, reworking of storm sewer
in-fall at N. Marginal Rd., providing of concrete duct work for
existing utilities and providing of new pavement striping and joint
sealant. Landscaping, including planting of trees, is also required.
Location of job is the Marine Safety Office, 1055 E. 9th St.,
Cleveland, OH. The estimated range is between $25K and $100K. SIC Code

Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, woman-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier.
The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid
performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT
provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against
losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending
Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $5000,000. For further
