66 -- INSTRUMENTS AND LABORATORY EQUIPMENT SOL RFP 2067 POC Contact Point, Warren Saul, Contracting Officer, USGS, Branch of Procurements and Contracts, 345 Middlefield Road - MS285, Menlo Park, CA 94025-3591 The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for the acquisition of three TANDEM GCQ/MS/MS Systems with upgrades and associated equipment. The GCQ System is an ion trap negative ion GC/MS/MS system. The central function of this equipment is to measure both positive and negative ions in the MS/MS mode. We also require #555 Upgrade of GCQ series System, #575 Integrated vacuum probe interlock and #SPC95-96009 Temperature Programmable Injector. Finnigan-Mat Corporation is the only known supplier of equipment which meets the minimum requirements of the Government. The USGS intends to acquire this equipment on a basis of other than Full and Open Competition. Interested parties may identify their capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals.
