Office of Foreign Buildings Operations (FBO) intends to enter into a
contract for wood office furniture for embassies and other office
buildings overseas. This will be a Requirements Contract for capital
(new building) projects for one year with four option years except for
the offices of the Ambassador and the Deputy Chief of Mission. The
resulting contract will be optional for FBO non-capital projects and
for use by overseas posts. Dealers and representatives may submit
proposals, but they must provide a firm commitment from a manufacturer
in writing to provide the product for the entire five year period.
Award will be made on the basis of both price and technical factors.
Offerors will submit sample products which will be examined in
Springfield, Virginia. These products may be standard products or
modified to the extent necessary to meet the Government's requirements.
SIC Code 2521 applies. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small
business (size standard, 500 employees). Solicitation will be released
