The US Army Engineer District, Sacramento plans to procure a material handling Mobility Storage System (MSS). The acquisition method is negotiated procurement. A technical proposal questionnaire and a price proposal will be required. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best advantage to the Government. The MSS consists of the following components: pallet rack; cantilever rack; a shelving-supported mezzanine with two incline-decline conveyor systems, fluorescent lighting, and fire-suppression sprinklers; two 10,000-pound capacity electric pallet jacks with batteries and charging systems. Supplier of this system shall also provide: (1) shipping to installation site; (2) the off-loading of the system; (3) installation of all equipment; (4) complete user training and, (5) instruction, installation, and maintenance/parts manuals. Installation site is Building P-1 at Travis Air Force Base, near the city of Fairfield, CA. This proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small business.
