Gunter-Henderson, Contract Specialist, (703) 695-9422 The Defense Supply Service Washington, in support of The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command intends to negotiate a Sole Source contract with Axciton System Inc., for 5 units of the following items of polygraph equipment: Portable computerized digital recording and display polygraph system capable of using ''Poly Score'' version using ''PolyScore'' version 2.9 (or greater) scoring algorithm, associated licensed software, updates (for 3 years) and components as indicated: Portable sensor box ''miniature'' size no greater than 6''W x 4.5''D x 1.5''H; Pneumograph chest assemblies; GSR sensor assembly with finger plates; Cardiograph cuff with inflation bulb and sphygmomanometer; ''Notebook'' sized DOS operating platform with required cords and battery packs meeting or exceeding the following specifications: DOS type 486-DX-50Mhz Central processing unit (CPU), 12MB random access memory (RAM), Active matrix color display, 320 MB hard drive, 3.5'' high density floppy diskette drive, 14,400 bps internal send and receive Fax/modem with windows software, 2 serial ports, 1 parallel port, mouse port and Mouse pointing device, Windows 3.1, DOS 6.2 Word 6, Excel and PowerPoint for Windows; Kodak Diconix Model 180si portable printer; Leather carrying case for polygraph equipment, printer and supplies. Vendors may identify their capability to respond to the ''Brand Name or Equal'' requirement or submit proposals. This is a notice of intent, not a request for proposals. In order for response to be considered it shall be the offeror's responsibility to indicate make, model number, price, and must include catalog and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical information in order for the Government to consider the offeror's response to this synopsis. If either a solicitation is issued, or an award made an additional synopsis may not be published. If no affirmative, substantive responses are received within 30 days after the publication of this synopsis, an award shall be placed with Axciton Systems Inc. See numbered Note 22. (0164)
