The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington has a requirement for the design, engineering, manufacture, delivery, training of users and installation of seating for the Main Arena of Halsey Field House, United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD. Requirement will include the demolition and removal of previous seating. Seating will be installed on the east, west, and north walls of the main arena. East and west banks will be 100', north bank to 80'. East and west banks to 18-20' in height. East bank will be 100 ft. in length, all bleacher seating, approximately 24 tiers, approximately 1300 capacity. West bank will be 100 ft. in length, chairback seating in the first 10 tiers of the center sections bleacher seating in remainder, approximately 14 tiers, approximately 1250 capacity. North bank to be 9-11' in height, 80' in length, all bleacher seating approximately 12 tiers, approximately 600 capacity. Telescoping platform is required to capacity of 3000 spectators. Seating to be a combination of bench and collapsible seatback styles. Aisle width to be 4'+. Railings shall be provided in aisle centers and along all platform edges. All decking to be 5/8'': AC plywood. Noising and rear riser to be galvanized steel. No-skid material to be applied on front top edge of aisle treads. All units shall be powered internally for extension and closing (110 vac). The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Award will be to the lowest, technically acceptable, responsible offeror on an all or none basis. A detailed technical proposal is required.
