910-394-6278. The project consists of furnishing plant, material,
labor, equipment, supplies and performing all operations relative to
the Construction of Liquid Oxygen Maintenace Facility, TMKH 90-1010 and
Add to and Alter Liquid Oxygen Storage TMKH 93-1062 in strict
accordance with specifications and drawings and subject to the terms
and conditions of the contract. Project Liquid Oxygen Maintenance
Facility TMKH 90-1010 consists of demolishing existing chainlink
fencing and asphalt to limits indicated. Construct pre-engineered metal
building (1,100 SF), with office, toilet (finish materials include:
acoustical tile ceiling, vinyl flooring ceramic tile flooring and
wainscot, painted gypsum board walls), drive-through area (finish
materials include: metal liner panels) and sheltered concrete pad (900
SF). Provide plumbing and electrical lines to 5'-0'' outside of the
building. Provide asphalt aprons to connect building to existing drive
(350 SY). Magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
The contract performance period of this project is 303 calendar days
after Notice to Proceed. Project Add to and Alter Liquid Oxygen Storage
TMKH 93-1062 consists of providing site electrical (pole mounted
transformer and 200' of underground cable in conduit), potable water
(tapping saddle, and backflow preventer) and wastewater (3 manholes and
450 LF of PVC piping) utilities to within 5'-0'' of both building lines
as indicated. Patch existing paving. Provide asphalt apron (250 SY) at
entrance to site. Provide temporary chainlink fence to secure liquid
oxygen facility until completion of work. Contract pre-engineered metal
building (800 SF), with office, toilet (finish material include:
acoustical tile ceiling, vinyl flooring, ceramic tile flooring and
wainscot painted gypsum board walls), and storage area (finish
materials include: metal liner panels). Provide plumbing and electrical
lines to 5'0'' outside of the building. Provide sidewalks and repair
asphalt and concrete at location of new construction. Construct
pre-engineered metal shelter (600 SF) and concrete pad. Magnitude of
the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Thecontract performance
period for this project is 303 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
This proposed acquisition is being considered for 100% set-aside for
Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB). Interested SDB firms need to submit
their interest no later than 3 Jul 95 and provide evidence of
eligibility. If adequate interest is not received from SDB firms, the
solicitation will be issued unrestricted; therefore, replies are
requested from all business concerns. SDB eligibility evidence to
include performance references, previous similar projects completed.
All responsible sources may submit a bid/proposal which shall be
considered by the Agency. Only written requests for the Invitation for
