Site painting of the exterior of three site buildings in support of the Department of Energy, Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) Program. The effort will involve the use of Subcontractor furnished labor material, equipment, tools, supervision, and transportation required to perform surface preparation and painting of three buildings at the West Hackberry SPR Site in Cameron Parish, West Hackberry Louisiana. Two buildings have exterior walls of insulated metal panels and one building with face brick requiring painting of metal trim only. Building dimensions are approximately 75' x 170' x 17', 50' x 180' x 15', and 61' x 142' x 20', respectively. Work scope includes disposal of all blasting sand, paint and solid waste generated during cleaning and painting. OSHA requirements, Federal, State, and Local Codes are applicable. This task can best be categorized under SIC 1721 Painting, Paper Hanging, and Decorating. The magnitude of this requirement is between $0 and $100,000. A solicitation is expected to be issued mid-July 1995. Potential bidders/offerors must provide written confirmation of their interest in this task.
