McKay, (410) 636-4286; Contract Specialist, Kathy Fields, (410) 636-4299 Potential Sources Sought: The Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources that can provide approximately 99 Ulstein Propeller AS parts. These parts are used on Variable Controllable Pitch Propeller and Hub Systems used on the 378' WHEC, 210' ''A'' WMEC and 157' WLM Class Coast Guard Vessels. It is the government's belief that only Ulstein Propeller AS or their authorized distributors can provide these Variable Controllable Pitch Propeller and Hub Systems Parts. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered Varibale Controllable Pitch and Hub Systems Parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer.
