Successful offeror will provide inoculation of the Heap Leach Pad with ``working strength'' populations of bacteria selected and adapted for in-situ destruction of cyanide by bacterial metabolism. Biotreatment microorganisms and additives will be introduced into the existing Heap Leach Pad water circulation circuit, while the present method of cyanide destruction (addition of hydrogen peroxide) ceases. The successful offeror will supply the agents and process for providing bioremediation media (adapted microorganisms and nutrients) of demonstrated effectiveness for addition to the Heap Leach Pad recirculation stream.
