Davis, (410)687-8875 Work shall include provisions for all labor, materials, equipment, tools and any other items necessary for Project 94-101, ''Replace Fire Alarm System.'' Work includes installation of fire alarm with central monitor and reporting. Detectors, pull stations, horn and lights, annunciators, transmitters, battery and chargers, control panels, flow and sprinkler alarms, door holders, actuating devices, etc. will be replaced and updated. The project will merge all the existing multi-panels into one centralized panel. The new system will give device and location of device that is in alarm or trouble. The work is as required by drawings and specifications at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fort Howard, Maryland. Issue date for the IFB package will be on or about 7/10/95. IFB package must be requested in writing and will be issued to prime contractors only. Requestors must certify prime contractor status on request for IFB package. Bid opening date is 8/9/95 at 2:00 p.m. local time at place of bid opening. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1 million. This solicitation is subject to full and open competition.
