Merchant, Contract Administrator, 402-294-4205. Project consists of replacing the existing 69 kv switches (5 ea.) and one controller on another 69 kv switch. The project shall be phased so that only one bus can be done at a time. The existing steel towers shall be modified as required to accommodate the new switches. This action is being cosidered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than COB 19 Jul 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. SIC code 1731 applies. The SDB size standard of $ 7 million is a three-year average annual gross revenue. Please provide certified reports/ statements which will verify this. If a joint venture is being considered, please provide the combined average annual gross revenue of both companies individually. Provide specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. Please list past performance data such as contract amount, contract number, project description and project site with a point of contact. For joint ventures please provide references from both companies inividually. If adequate interests and/ or above information is not received from qualified SDB concerns by above date, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
