NASA Kennedy Space Center will procure firm fixed-price payload processing capability/services for: (a) EOS-AM Atlas IIAS fairing encapsulation pathfinder operations and EOS-AM payload processing/fairing encapsulation (launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA in June 1998), (b) Landsat 7 payload processing (launch in September 1998), (c) EOS-PM payload processing (launch in December 2000), (d) Discrete optional services for up to 6-10 additional missions encompassing Delta-Lite, Delta-class payloads planned for launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California to be exercised when deemed to be advantageous to NASA. Successful offeror will provide Class 10,000 clean room capability, minimum 20 x 50 feet ingress/egress, a minimum of 3,500 square feet of high bay processing space with an airlock, and the capability of supporting hazardous propellants and ordnance. Capability to process two different NASA spacecraft within 30-45 days (specifically EOS-AM in June and Landsat 7 in May 1998). NASA may award more than one contract as a result of this solicitation.
