011-81-462-53-8749. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Japan is seeking
the services of a contractor for an Indefinite Delivery Services
Contract for planning, studies, reports, assessments, reviews,
investigations, evaluations, testing, and other services associated
with various general environmental projects at various locations in
Japan. Services may include preparation of environmental reports and
studies, feasibility and economic analysis, reviews and evaluations,
research and documentation, assessments, impact statements, planning
documents, management plans, site investigations and surveys,
drillings, sampling and analysis, investigative analysis, monitoring,
underground storage tank testing, and other environmental-related work.
The required work will support military and host nation projects in
Japan within the areas of responsibility of the Japan Engineer
District. The length of this contract is one year from the date of
award with Government Options for two additional years. Services will
be implemented through individual delivery orders on an
as-needed-basis, with a maximum cumulative contract total of $3,000,000
for a one year period. As an option, the Government may, after a
cumulative contract total of $3,000,000 is reached during the first and
each succeeding year, extend the contract for an additional maximum
cumulative contract amount of $3,000,000 per year. The contractor shall
be required to conform to a separate scope of work for each delivery
order but in general will be required to conduct environmental services
as noted above. The contract shall require the Government to order
Goods and Services priced at not less than: Two percent (2%) of the
stated maximum or $500,00, whichever is less, in the Base Year; and one
percent (1%) or 250,000, whichever is less, in each Option Year. The
Government has the option to award more than one contract under this
Notice of Procurement. When two or more contracts with duplicative
scope of work are awarded by the Japan Engineer District, U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers, which will be performed concurrently, the criteria
for allocation of delivery orders between the contracts will be based
on one or more of the following factors: (1) Professional
Qualifications, (2) Specialized Experience and Technical Competence,
(3) Capacity to accomplish the work, (4) Past Performance, (5) Volume
of work with Federal Agencies, and (6) Geographic Proximity. The
proposed procurement is unrestricted. The solicitation shall be issued
on or about July 14, 1995. Documents available without charge. Request

limited and will be furnished on a first received, first served basis.
