Consumer Service anticipates issuing a competitive procurement for
advisory and assistance services to assess the feasibility of routine
food price data collection in rural areas in order to track food price
changes in underserved areas. The study will require reviewing and
synthesizing existing information and interviewing experts on data
collection and analytical methodologies for routine price monitoring.
An annotated bibliography, conceptual assessment, and feasibility
report will be produced. FCS estimates that 1.0 professional year(s)
effort will be required during the 12 month period of performance.
